Xiaomi Pad 8: the value pick for streaming and games

That is a lot of hardware for the money. Lenovo Idea Tab Plus: a big, efficient screen at a moderate price

A 12.1-inch 2560×1600 screen at 90Hz, a 10,200mAh battery with 45W charging, four Dolby Atmos speakers and a microSD slot, at 530 grams and 6.3mm. The compromise is the Dimensity 6400 chip, which is fine for browsing, video and study but not for demanding games, and the display is LCD rather than OLED.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+: the easy family tablet

An 11-inch 1920×1200 screen at 90Hz, a Dimensity 7300 chip, a 7,040mAh battery and a card slot that takes up to 2TB. At 477 grams and 6.9mm, it is the one you hand to a child or prop up in the kitchen for recipes. It only has Wi-Fi 5 and 25W charging, so it fills up more slowly than the others.
